Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years (as on closing date)
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with at least 50% marks.
- Valid ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT in a relevant trade.
- Engineering graduates and diploma holders are NOT eligible.
Vacancy Distribution
Positions are available in five clusters:
- Mumbai
- Pune
- Nagpur
- Bhusawal
- Solapur
Note: Candidates can apply for only one cluster.
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹100 (inclusive of GST)
- SC/ST/Female/PwBD: No fee
- Payment via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Selection Process
Selection is based on merit calculated from:
- Class 10 marks (50% weightage)
- ITI marks (50% weightage)
No written exam or interview. Reservations apply as per central government norms.
Training & Stipend
- Duration: 1 year
- Monthly stipend: ₹7,000
- Important: This is a training position and does not guarantee permanent employment in Railways.
