The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially released the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Junior Intelligence Officer Recruitment 2025 notification for 394 technical positions. Eligible candidates can now apply online via the official MHA portal. The application window is open from August 23, 2025, and the last date to apply is September 14, 2025.

About IB JIO Recruitment 2025

The Intelligence Bureau (IB), India’s central domestic intelligence agency, has launched a recruitment drive for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech). This is a Group ‘C’, non-gazetted position offering a rewarding career in national security and intelligence operations.

Note: Final-year students who will complete their course by September 2025 are eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of qualification at the time of document verification.

Selection Process

  1. Tier-I Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Technical Subjects.
  2. Tier-II: Skill Test (Practical/Typing/Computer Test) for shortlisted candidates.
  3. Interview: Final stage for qualified candidates after Tier-II.
